No matter if you’re park hopping or just exploring Walt Disney World, there are many reliable ways to get from EPCOT to Animal Kingdom. The bus system at Disney World regularly moves guests between EPCOT and Animal Kingdom. Just head to the bus area in the front of EPCOT to catch a ride to Animal Kingdom! Don’t worry if you don’t see a bus heading to Animal Kingdom! You can find another bus roughly every 20 minutes.

You can get from Hollywood Studios to Animal Kingdom in a variety of different ways. Like with most other parks at Disney World, bus is the simplest way to get between Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. Just look for the bus transportation area outside of Hollywood Studios to find a bus going to Animal Kingdom.
New busses arrive regularly, so don’t worry if you don’t find one right away. You can also get a ride from a third-party service if you don’t want to wait for the bus.
Magic Kingdom
You can probably guess how to get to Animal Kingdom from Magic Kingdom! The simplest way to get from Magic Kingdom to Animal Kingdom is by bus. Like with other Disney World parks, catching a ride to Animal Kingdom can be as simple as finding a bus. You can find busses in the bus transportation area outside of Magic Kingdom.
Taxi services can be another good way to get between Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom if you don’t feel like waiting and don’t mind spending some money on transportation.

You can get from Animal Kingdom Lodge to Animal Kingdom primarily through a bus ride. Taking a bus is the only official way provided by Disney to get between Animal Kingdom Lodge and Animal Kingdom. You can still take a taxi or an alternative form of transportation if you want. You should not try to walk between Animal Kingdom Lodge and Animal Kingdom. We suggest just grabbing the bus; it’s quick, easy, and free!

How Long is the Bus Ride from Animal Kingdom Lodge to Animal Kingdom?
The bus ride from Animal Kingdom Lodge to Animal Kingdom typically takes between 20 minutes and 40 minutes, depending on traffic and stops. Animal Kingdom Lodge is about 2.5 miles away from Animal Kingdom. You can catch a bus from Animal Kingdom Lodge to Animal Kingdom about every 20 to 30 minutes.
With factors like traffic and waiting for the bus, your bus ride from Animal Kingdom Lodge to Animal Kingdom can take as little as 20 minutes under best conditions and just over an hour if you get really unlucky.
Can you Walk from Animal Kingdom Lodge to Animal Kingdom?
While you may think that you may technically be able to walk from Animal Kingdom Lodge to Animal Kingdom, realistically it is not feasible or even allowed. There are no walking paths between Animal Kingdom Lodge and Animal Kingdom. Like stated above, Animal Kingdom is roughly 2.5 miles away from Animal Kingdom Lodge. You should not try to walk to Animal Kingdom from Animal Kingdom Lodge or vice-versa.
While the savanna behind Animal Kingdom Lodge is connected to Animal Kingdom, that area is full of wild animals and you are not allowed to walk through it. Animal Kingdom Lodge is also connected to Animal Kingdom by highway, which you should also not walk on or alongside to travel in Walt Disney World. We recommend just catching the bus from Animal Kingdom Lodge to Animal Kingdom!
Art of Animation to Animal Kingdom

You can typically find transportation between Art of Animation and Animal Kingdom, as well as between other Walt Disney World resorts and Animal Kingdom. Fitting with other locations on this list, the most common way to get to Animal Kingdom from Art of Animation is by bus. You can find a bus to take you to Animal Kingdom outside of Art of Animation on a regular schedule.
Miss the bus? Don’t worry! You can usually catch another bus from Art of Animation to Animal Kingdom roughly every 20 minutes.
Get to Animal Kingdom by Boat

Unfortunately, Animal Kingdom is one park in Walt Disney World that you can not take a boat to get to. Unlike other Disney World parks like EPCOT, Animal Kingdom does not have any water access. If you want to get to Animal Kingdom, taking a bus is usually the easiest option.
You might be able to technically take a boat to Animal Kingdom if you own an Amphicar!
