It took a lot of thought and debate, but our favorite quick service breakfast in Animal Kingdom is the Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery. Kusafiri Coffee Shop is in the Africa section of Animal Kingdom and the theming is immaculate. Beyond the detailed theming, Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery has lots of different foods available for breakfast. From traditional breakfast sandwiches like the Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit to sweeter fare like the Colossal Cinnamon Roll, there is something for everyone at Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery.
You can even get an alcoholic African Coffee with Amarula Cream Liqeur to start your day at Animal Kingdom! Like the name of Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery would imply, there is also regular coffee available to start your day off at the Animal Kingdom.

Although Tusker House Restaurant is the only breakfast buffet and the only character breakfast in Animal Kingdom, Tusker House has rightfully earned its reputation. The price of Tusker House Restaurant is $45 per adult and $29 per child, with this price not including taxes or gratuity.
The breakfast buffet at Tusker House Restaurant offers a huge variety of different breakfast foods. From delicious pastries like Danishes and Cinnamon Buns to traditional breakfast food like Bacon, Sausage, Yogurt, Potatoes, Eggs, and of course, Mickey Waffles! You can even get special Simba Waffles for breakfast because you’re in Animal Kingdom! Specialty cocktails like Ngumu Jungle Juice, the African Bloody Mary, and the African Mimosa are also available for breakfast at Tusker House Restaurant.
When talking about the breakfast at Tusker House Restaurant in Animal Kingdom, you can’t forget the characters! Donald Duck is the main star of Tusker House Restaurant and can be found often in his safari getup. You can typically find Donald with 3 of his friends as well, usually Mickey, Daisy, and Goofy. One of the coolest things about Animal Kingdom Lodge is all of the animals, and you can see the animals on the safari while you eat at Sanaa! Sanaa is an African themed restaurant with touches of Indian cuisine available for lunch and dinner by reservation. For breakfast at Animal Kingdom Lodge, Sanaa offers quick service breakfast foods that do not require a reservation. Sanaa offers a variety of both quick and sit-down breakfast foods for your stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge. Quick breakfasts at Sanaa include foods like fresh fruit, pastries, and yogurt, while sit-down breakfasts at Sanaa include foods like Eggs Benedict, the Boere Breakfast, and the Shahi Tukra French Toast.
If you’re looking for a more traditional breakfast during your stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge, we suggest considering The Mara! The Mara offers breakfasts at Animal Kingdom Lodge that you can grab and eat quickly before a busy day at Disney World.
