Yes, you are allowed to bring an electric fan with you on your next Royal Caribbean Cruise. Royal Caribbean does require that your electric fan is UL Certified, but most modern fans are and this shouldn’t be a problem for you. You can also bring portable, handheld fans with you on your Royal Caribbean Cruise if you’d like.
Forget your fan on embarkation day? No problem! Your stateroom attendant may be able to provide you with a fan. It doesn’t hurt to ask!

You are allowed to bring an electric fan on your next Carnival Cruise, but there are a few conditions that you must follow. You are only allowed to bring an electric fan on your Carnival Cruise if it is less than 12 inches in diameter.
Just like with Royal Caribbean Cruises, you may be able to request a fan for your room once you are on board! Keep in mind that the provided fans on Carnival Cruises are standing fans. So if you prefer a countertop fan, you may want to plan ahead!

It is slightly unclear whether you are allowed to bring a fan with you on your next Norwegian Cruise. Norwegian Cruise Lines officially only allows “small electrical and battery-powered” fans. While portable, handheld fans are technically allowed on your next Norwegian Cruise, it can be hard to determine if your fan will be allowed. Norwegian Cruise Lines does not provide exact measurements for what is considered as a small electrical fan.

Fans brought on Disney Cruises must be brought in your carry-on luggage on embarkation day.
